Remembering another great hike begining literally right at our doorstep. Our lodge is often bathed in the shadow from Mount Field!

Mount Temple!

Some of the highest Alpine views you can experience without getting into serious climbing! A fantastic scramble just above our sister property Moraine Lake Lodge, which is about 40 minutes door to door from our location in Yoho National Park

Twin Falls & Whaleback Pass

An excellent all levels hike up the main Yoho Valley leaving from Takakkawa Falls parking lot, which is only 10 minutes from the lodge. About 4-5 hours return with an option for the ambitious to tag on Whaleback Pass which ascends Twin Falls and has great views back up the valley. Twin Falls Chalet is an excellent stop-over for lunch if you can make it and Fran Drummond the owner is something of a local ledgend!
